The Mission of the Red Brick Arts Council is to manage the Red Brick Center for the Arts as a community resource, as well as promote arts in education and community.

The Center is an unique and historic facility (a former school) housing 14 artists-in-residence and 8 non-profit cultural organizations.

The Council provides support for local artists through the Red Brick Artist Residency Program,  providing low-cost studio space; and curates monthly Red Brick Gallery exhibitions featuring Aspen area artists.  We host opening receptions for these exhibitions every first Thursday, year-round.

The Council develops arts programming for the benefit of the entire community, including arts education classes, workshops and presentations, and cultivates various special events throughout the year.

The Red Brick Center offers to our Community an affordable rehearsal and practice space for the performing arts including dance, theatre, music, yoga, etc. As well, we provide an affordable conference room with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment.
